The Opportunity

This is your chance to develop a Marketing dept, and Marketing initiatives from the ground-up for a high-growth organization!  Below are some of the responsibilities that this role will own:

  • Mgmt of all DSI social media sites, branding and communications
  • Planning and coordination of all DSI marketing and promotional events
  • Creation and mgmt of annual DSI marketing and events plan
  • Creation and mgmt of DSI Social Media Marketing Plan
  • Partner with Agents in all DSI offices, and collaborate on marketing and event opportunities
  • Represent DSI at external community events
  • Collaborate with Agents and Mgmt team on email marketing campaigns that help provide new lead generation activity, along with helping to strengthen our relationships with existing customers
  • Manage Email Marketing Campaigns, and other visual/written communications sent through our Agency Marketing Automation tool (Agency Buzz)
  • Be the Liaison between DSI and all external Marketing vendors
  • Assist Mgmt in the creation of DSI marketing collateral, and other promotional items
  • Assist with internal DSI Marketing Committee, and be the point person for all event and charity planning
  • In partnership with VP of HR, assist in recruitment marketing and employment branding

The Person

We are looking for someone who can have an immediate impact on our Marketing and Branding initiatives, and who truly has a passion for wanting to own the Marketing aspects of a high-growth organization! Below are some proven skill sets, behaviors, personality traits and work related experience that we are looking for in our new Marketing Specialist:

  • This position requires a minimum of at least 3 years experience in a corporate or agency marketing role.
  • Bachelors degree in a Marketing related field of study is preferred but not required
  • Proven experience managing and developing marketing plans on a short and long term basis
  • Proven experience managing the social media branding and communication for a growing organization
  • Serious attention to detail!  
  • Project mgmt experience would be a great bonus!
  • Outstanding written and oral communication is a MUST!
  • The ability to interpret data to help develop marketing strategies, initiatives and campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills and the innate ability to self manage
  • The ability to work at a fast pace and meet hard deadlines will be key
  • Website or Graphic Design design skills and experience would also be a BIG bonus!
  • Experience developing Email Marketing Campaigns
  • Professional demeanor and image is very important as this position will be a client-facing role
  • Must have the ability to build strong internal relationships with Depts and other Employees
  • Experience using a Marketing Automation Tool
